1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the EEA) to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• You must notify us immediately at contact@kingsinnovations.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice.
• You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans.

3. The Service

I Know It allows you to write a prediction ("hunch"), seal it with a future reveal date, and receive a unique IKI code as a timestamped record. When the reveal date arrives, the hunch unlocks and you may share a proof card.

• Timestamps: IKI codes and seal timestamps are recorded on our servers at the moment of sealing. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure their accuracy and integrity, we do not guarantee that they will be accepted as legally admissible evidence in any jurisdiction.
• Tamper-evidence: Our system is designed to be tamper-evident, not tamper-proof. We use server-side HMAC signatures on seal events; however, we make no warranty that the system is immune to all forms of attack or technical failure.
• Availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App or our servers. We may suspend or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, threatening, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent hunches with the intent to deceive others.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App or its servers.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or crawlers to access the App or API.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or security measures.
• Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable local, national, or international law.
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.

5. Content You Submit

• You retain ownership of the hunch content you create.
• By submitting content, you grant Kings Innovations a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, transmit, and display that content solely as necessary to operate the service.
• You are solely responsible for your content and any consequences of submitting it.
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law, without notice.

6. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Payments

The App offers the following paid options to unlock Premium features (unlimited hunches and removal of advertisements):

6.1 Yearly Subscription ($4.99 / year)

• Billed annually through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• Automatically renews each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You may cancel at any time via your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
• We reserve the right to change the yearly subscription price with at least 30 days' notice prior to your next renewal date.

6.2 Lifetime Purchase ($14.99 — one time)

• A one-time, non-recurring charge processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• "Lifetime" means for the lifetime of the App, not the lifetime of the purchaser. Access is granted for as long as Kings Innovations operates and maintains the App. If the App is discontinued, transferred, or significantly altered, your access to Premium features may cease without further compensation beyond what is required by applicable law or app store policy.
• Lifetime purchases are non-refundable after 48 hours from the date of purchase, except where required by applicable law or app store refund policy.
• If you delete and reinstall the App, you may restore your Lifetime purchase at no charge using the "Restore Purchases" feature.

6.3 General Payment Terms

• All payments are processed exclusively by Apple or Google — we do not handle or store your payment card data.
• Refunds are governed by the refund policy of the relevant app store. To request a refund, contact Apple Support or Google Play Support directly.
• Prices are displayed in USD and may vary by region due to local taxes, currency conversion, or app store pricing tiers.
• Free tier users (up to 10 lifetime hunches) may see advertisements served by Google AdMob. Premium users do not see advertisements.

7. Service Discontinuation

We reserve the right to suspend, discontinue, or transfer the App and its services at any time. In such an event:

• We will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' advance notice via the App or the email address associated with your account.
• Yearly subscribers will receive a pro-rated refund for any unused portion of their current billing period, processed through the relevant app store.
• Lifetime purchasers acknowledge that "lifetime" refers to the operational lifetime of the App. No refund is owed for Lifetime purchases upon discontinuation, except where required by applicable law or app store policy.
• We will make your hunch content available for export for a minimum of 30 days following any discontinuation notice, where technically feasible.

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App — including its design, code, trademarks, logos, and the "I Know It" and "IKI" branding — are owned by Kings Innovations and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

IN PARTICULAR, WE MAKE NO WARRANTY THAT IKI CODES OR SEAL TIMESTAMPS WILL BE RECOGNISED AS LEGALLY BINDING PROOF IN ANY COURT, ARBITRATION, OR OTHER PROCEEDING.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, KINGS INNOVATIONS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR DAMAGES. IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kings Innovations and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the App; (b) your content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

13. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time from the App (Profile → Delete account), which permanently removes all your data from our servers. Sections 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 14 survive termination.

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. You waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.

If you are a consumer in the EEA, you may also have the right to bring a claim before your local courts.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where required, notify you via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kings Innovations regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the App.
